Ingredients
Scale
Cinnamon Roll Dough
- 1 can (16.5 oz) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
Oreo Filling
- 10-12 Oreo cookies, crushed
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Toppings
- 1/2 cup cream cheese icing (included with the cinnamon rolls or homemade)
- Extra Oreo cookies for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat Oven & Prepare Baking Dish: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish with butter or non-stick spray to prevent sticking and ensure even baking.
- Unroll the Dough: Open the can of cinnamon roll dough and carefully unroll each roll into long strips to prepare for filling.
- Prepare the Filling: In a small bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies, brown sugar, and cinnamon, mixing thoroughly to create the flavorful filling.
- Fill the Rolls: Brush each dough strip with melted butter then evenly sprinkle the Oreo mixture on top, pressing it lightly into the dough to secure the filling inside.
- Roll Them Back Up: Carefully roll each strip back into its original cinnamon roll shape, ensuring the Oreo filling stays enclosed within the dough.
- Bake: Arrange the stuffed rolls in the greased baking dish, bake in the preheated oven for 18-22 minutes or until the rolls turn golden brown and cooked through.
- Add the Icing & Toppings: Allow the rolls to cool for 5 minutes post-baking, then generously drizzle with cream cheese icing and sprinkle additional crushed Oreos on top for an extra burst of flavor and texture.
- Serve & Enjoy: Serve warm to enjoy the gooey, melty center and fresh cinnamon roll softness for the best tasting experience.
Notes
- For a stronger Oreo flavor, increase the amount of crushed Oreos in the filling.
- If you prefer a crunchier texture, add chopped Oreo pieces instead of crushed.
- You can use homemade cream cheese icing or the store-bought icing included with the cinnamon rolls.
- Make sure not to overfill the rolls to avoid leaking during baking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat gently before serving.
